I am a student at James Madison University majoring in Sport and Recreation Management with minors in Business and Communication. I am actively involved in Phi Mu Gamma Theta, where I have held multiple leadership roles and served as the 2025 Chapter President. In addition to my academic and organizational commitments, I work part-time as an Athletics Facilities Building Manager and Game Operations Assistant with JMU Athletics, as well as an Event Operations and Scheduling Manager at The Union. Through these experiences, I’ve developed strong skills in leadership, event coordination, facility management, and team collaboration.
Supported day-to-day operations and scheduling for major campus event venues, including Grafton-Stovall Theatre and Memorial Auditorium. Created and managed weekly staff schedules, including rotating weekend and holiday coverage, to support academic-year and event needs. Supervised and coordinated Event Operations Assistants (EOAs), assigning shifts, managing coverage needs, and communicating expectations. Utilized EMS (Event Management System) to generate weekly operational reports and identify staffing needs requiring in-person support. Entered and maintained shifts in Sling scheduling software, accounting for prep time, closing duties, and custom event setup requirements. Communicated scheduling updates and staffing changes to managers and supervisors during weekly operations meetings. Assisted with building-wide event coverage by adding pickup shifts and coordinating additional operational support as needed. Helped input and maintain the Master Schedule for Fall and Spring semesters, including academic breaks and holidays. Maintained additional responsibilities within the Event Operations Manager (EOM) role, including regular weekly shifts and rotating weekend assignments. Demonstrated strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Managing complex logistical operations, coordinating diverse teams, and ensuring seamless event experiences while combining attention to detail with a strategic mindset. I manage a group of college students while operating setups and during event times with services to the customer in a positive and informing demeanor while combining collaboration to promote growth and improvement within the field.
Helps with and attends to event setups and technical problems throughout events. Available for customer questions with events and general questions about the building and the James Madison University campus. Collaborates with coworkers and managers on the quickest and most efficient way to complete various things thorough the building.
Acted as the primary point of contact at the main desk of the Atlantic Union Bank Center. Answered all incoming calls related to JMU athletic events and facilities, directing inquiries as needed. Greeted guests, athletes, and staff, delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Provided logistical information about facility operations and game day procedures.
Oversaw 11 athletic facilities, ensuring spaces were clean, secure, and used only by authorized JMU student-athletes. Conducted regular walkthroughs to inspect for damage, safety hazards, and facility readiness. Enforced building policies, monitored facility usage, and responded to on-site concerns in real time. Collaborated with professional staff to complete operational tasks and support daily facility functions. Managed post-game lost and found inquiries, especially during high-traffic football weekends.
Supported game day operations for multiple sports including football, volleyball, basketball, and field hockey. Served as a liaison to game officials, ensuring their needs were communicated to supervisors and addressed promptly. Managed court maintenance during basketball games, maintaining a safe playing surface throughout events. Led staff check-in procedures and issued credentials for approved personnel. Handled game day signage setup, including tailgating and parking signs before football games. Provided real-time communication during events like the Parade of Champions, directing facility-related concerns to the appropriate team leaders. Assisted as a ball shagger during field hockey games, supporting pace-of-play and sideline readiness.

Meets with Fraternity and Sorority staff regularly and attends JMU president’s meetings weekly. Fills any vacancies in offices or committee positions and installs new chapter officers. Corresponds with Advisors, area team, and National Headquarters. Will run all Executive Council meetings and Formal Business Meetings. Approves checks for the Treasurer. Serves as member of Membership Selection board and the House Corp.. Serves as ex-officio member of all committees, excluding nominating committee. Attends leadership training at JMU and helps with officer training. Serves as the face of the chapter and supports Executive Committee members. Oversees the completion of all paperwork on time. Serves as the national voting delegate for the chapter at convention and serves a main role in Ritual events. Signs all social contracts.
Serve as a representative for Phi Mu in all Panhellenic Chapter decisions. Communicate all Panhellenic events to the chapter and all Phi Mu chapter events to the Panhellenic council. Completed chapter forms for the National Phi Mu Council. Attend weekly Phi Mu Executive Board Meetings and Biweekly Panhellenic Delegate Meetings.
Led small group activities, within the chapter meetings, that correlated with the theme and lesson of the chapter.
As a member of the team, I embraced a diverse range of responsibilities that allowed me to excel in the world of sports communication and social media management. I took charge of creating captivating video content tailored for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook platforms, crafting engaging narratives that resonated with our enthusiastic fanbase. I orchestrated in-game social media stories, driving real-time excitement and fostering a sense of community among fans during the thrilling moments of home games. By implementing savvy strategies, our team had an impressive 156-follower surge on Instagram and a new following of 112 people on TikTok, further expanding our reach and engagement with fans. I conducted insightful interviews with sponsors, forging strong partnerships that contributed to the team's success and prominence. Throughout my journey, I collaborated seamlessly with teammates, coaches, and sponsors, ensuring a unified and cohesive approach to our community based team.
