As Head of Global Corporate & Marketing Communications I am responsible for Incotec's global corporate and marketing communications strategy. Incotec is part of CRODA International PLC, a growing specialty chemical facturer. Incotec has a motivated team of 400 people worldwide who spend each day working on new and sustainable ways to enhance seeds for vegetables and field crops. The technologies we develop contribute to solving global food problems.
The Tata Steel Chess Tournament is a leading chess event in world. Under my leadership we succeeded in reducing the budget while increasing the benefits for sponsor Tata Steel and in implementing a new format. The latter resulting in more media-attention for Tata Steel and in reaching a broader audience for the game of chess.
As Head of Communications I was responsible for all in - and external communications for Tata Steel in Mainland Europe; the largest steelproduction site being based in IJmuiden. Tata Steel is Europe's second largest steel producer, with steelmaking in the UK and Netherlands, and manufacturing plants across Europe. The company supplies products and services to markets like construction, automotive, packaging, rail, lifting & excavating, energy & power and aerospace.
