Design and development lead for Rohde & Schwarz (Australia) System Solutions under the project groups, specifically mechanical design of the solution package, including mechanical/electrical interfacing to Naval/Air Force platforms and land based systems. Design and development lead for all Rohde & Schwarz (Australia) developed products to support our R&S GmbH products across all our Defence and ATC projects. • Mechanical Integration of the SEA4000 Air Warfare Destroyer’s communications system • De-risking project design activities with the aid of CAD software • Selection of mechanical components and design/manufacture of equipment to comply with project requirements • Creating document/drawing structures for mechanical system documentation delivery • Reviewing mechanical documentation from sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Design, prototyping and manufacture of mechanical parts and systems for use in military platforms - Systems Integration of mechanical and electrical systems in military platforms - Requirements capture, analysis and specification writing for products, specifically in compliance with MIL and DEF Standards - Mechanical CAD modelling, drafting and analysis.
