For more than 25 years, I have been practising as an attorney with a particular focus on construction and architectural law, construction-related criminal law, and claim resolution in complex construction and infrastructure projects. A significant part of my professional practice lies in the field of surety and guarantee law as well as surety insurance. For many years, I have advised and represented leading surety insurers as well as companies in the construction and real estate sector on all legal matters relating to guarantees, surety bonds and security instruments in the construction industry. This includes in particular the enforcement and defence of claims under surety bonds, issues relating to guarantee and security management, and the legal support of complex construction and infrastructure projects. In addition, I advise companies and investors comprehensively on construction and real estate law and assist in the resolution of commercial disputes both out of court and in litigation. I also make use of business-oriented dispute resolution mechanisms such as mediation and structured settlement processes in order to achieve efficient and sustainable results for my clients. My objective is to support companies and individuals through sound legal advice, strategic litigation and economically oriented dispute resolution, enabling them to successfully overcome complex legal challenges in the construction and real estate sector.
