Experience

  • Mindfulness & Self-Compassion | Teacher in Training / Assistant / Practitioner at Part-time, volunteering, own practice
    Nov 2020 - Present · 5 yrs 9 mos

It was my psychotherapy training, coupled with my own experience of burnout, that led me to mindfulness meditation. At first, I struggled to stay consistent with the practice. But things began to change when I joined a supportive online community and connected with others who had the same wish as I did—to really live this life, not just go through it. It was then that mindfulness truly clicked for me. Along the way, I met a mentor who taught me how to turn toward myself with compassion. I realized that while I often had awareness, kindness was missing. And when I could be kind to myself, my practice became much more impactful. To learn more about self-compassion, I enrolled in a Mindful Self-Compassion program. Completing it felt like discovering a whole new world, though I sensed it was just the beginning. I kept practicing, learning, and even started facilitating practice sessions occasionally, thanks to an invitation from a senior trainer Aimee Eckhardt. I found joy in supporting others in this way, which led me to pursue two professional trainings in mindfulness and self-compassion: • Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness Teacher Training with David Treleaven (2023/2024) • Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher Training & Practicum with Self-Compassion Academy in the Netherlands (2024) Part-time work includes being an assistant to senior trainer Cassondra Graff in Mindful Self-Compassion for Shame 8-week program (Oct-Nov 2024 & Apr-Jun 2025). My wish is to offer these precious skills in my own language.

  • Human Resources | HR Business Partner at Infobip
    Jul 2014 - Dec 2018 · 4 yrs 6 mos

I started as an IT recruiter and gradually grew into a business partner role for engineering and product development. Along the way, I led several interesting projects that had a company-wide impact, like introducing the first leadership development program. What I enjoyed most was creating efficient processes, working closely with talented tech leaders, and mentoring HR team members. I even had the chance to spend three months in India, where I mentored HR team onsite.
