I have seven years experience working in the Departmant of Diagnostics Hematology, Cytology and Coagulation. The Department has also an Emergency laboratory. In Emergency laboratory I take blood from finger and perform tests on Coulter HmX Hematology analyzer and also cooperate with doctors. On Depatrmant I perform a variety of laboratory an medical procedurs. I preaper blood samples for hematology and coagulation testing and also other body fluids for cytology examination. I perform duties such as collection, sorting and labeling, centrifuges specimens, also setting up and testing of speicmens. Preaper blood smears and cytology slides and routine staining(May-Grunwald-Geimsa. On hematology perform routine laboratory tests on UniCel DxH 800, Coulter Cellular Analysis System and on Coulter LH 750 Analyzer evaluate test results and recognize abnormal values in specific population groups. Also comfirme the accurately interpret the results and report of laboratory findings to the doctors. Also set up instruments and perform quality control procedurs and equipment maintenace. On coagulation analyzer (BCS XP SIEMENS) perform routine tests and specialized tests(d-dimer, fibrinolysis, euglobulin lysis time, fibrin degradation products, anthitrombin III, FII, V, VII, VIII, XI, X, FXa). Set up instrument and perform quality control procedurs. Also I have experance examination blood smear and cytologic slides under microscop including identify their cellular components. On cytology perform cytology examination cerebrospinal fluids, bronhoalveolar lavage and ascites(native -counting cells and sayk), also and microsopic detection and identification of Plasmodium species in Geimsa-stained in the thin and tick peripheral blood smear.
After studied I had education in Hematology- Biocemistry laboratory one year. I performed duties such as taking blood from perippheral vein and finger, also collecting, sorting prepapering samples for testing and separating plasma or serum from cells by centrifugations for coagulation and biocemical tests and urine tests. I also passed through the work of the hematology and coagulation analyzer, acid-base analyzer and olymups(chemistry analyzer).
