“Wetting and evaporation dynamics on textured surfaces” • Improve the understanding of the phenomenon of wetting on textured surfaces • Focus on the dynamics of contact line on these complex surfaces, using optic methods and in particular interferometry
Development of a tool in Excel/Visual Basic to optimize the flow of waste and alternative fuel streams for the Geocycle business within the Central Europe region • Create a model to optimize flows from waste generators to Holcim pre- and co-processing facilities to maximize the overall profit with the software What’sBest!® considering constraints on market volumes and equipment capacities as well as chemical co-processing contraints • Create a tool to analyse and visualize results of the network optimization • Develop relevant scenarios including sensitivity analysis for the operations in Central Europe as a basis for strategic decision making • Document the concept of the developed tool and create a user handbook

Provide private lessons in sciences and maths to students in 3rd, 4th and 5th secondary school • Establish a skills assessment with the pupil and identify the difficulties of learning • Determine an adapted program and prepare the sessions • Motivate the pupil by means of adapted practical exercises allowing him to gain confidence in the subject
