About

Heading up the Secretariat of the International Advisory Panel for Biodiversity Credits (IAPB), a global initiative for the design of high integrity nature credit markets. Prior acted as Sector Guidance Lead at the Task Force for Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and Nature-related Finance Director at Global Canopy. Has been Executive Director of the Green Digital Finance Alliance (GDFA), a not-for-profit foundation, launched in 2017 in Davos and co-founded by UNEP and Ant Financial. Served on the Informal Technical Expert Group designing the first version of the TNFD scoping document "Nature in Scope". Have edited a number of input papers to the G-20 Sustainable Finance Working Group on green digital finance, served as G20 Tech-sprint judge with the Central Bank of Italy and the Central Bank of Brazil. Is a Senior Fellow at SOAS University of London.

    Heading up a foundation co-founded by UN Environment Program (UNEP) and the Ant Group to leverage digital technology to scale green digital finance. Developed and fundraised the foundation from establishment to scale-up with a portfolio of initiatives, a global network of digital financial platforms committing to green their offerings. Developed new models for asset geolocation data to enable more accurate accounting for biodiversity risk by financial service institutions as well as leading work on portfolio ocean risk hotspot assessments, ocean metrics design and corresponding biodiversity related data supply maps for financial service institutions. Developed input papers to the G-20 Sustainable Finance Working Group, to the UN SG’s Task Force for Digital Financing of the SDG’s and an INSPIRE handbook for central banks on sustainable finance.
