About

I have 6 years of experience in system testing in the automotive industry. I test electric power steering powerpacks (motors and ECUs) in my current role, and previously tested propulsion systems for electric vehicles. I perform functional and robustness testing, mainly black-box and gray-box tests. On the technical side, I work with Python daily - for test automation, result evaluation, and report generation. I also contribute to the improvement of our test framework. I am experienced with professional measurement tools including CANape and Trace32, and I actively support developers by providing automated or manual measurements and issue reports. When it comes to issue reports, I often dive into the software code - written in C - to provide more valuable insights for debugging. I also participate in requirement reviews, which helps catch problems before they reach testing. What describes my personality at work: I communicate clearly across teams and believe communication plays an important role in delivering a successful project. I speak up when I need information or support, and equally make sure to share information when I find something useful or spot a serious problem. I'm always willing to help or mentor those around me, and I hold myself to a high standard of precision. I keep my documentation thorough without overdoing it, and my test descriptions are written to be fully reproducible. I hold a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Mechatronics. During my BSc I specialised in manufacturing technology, gaining knowledge in CNC machining, NC programming, and robotics. An internship at Bosch in quality assurance made me aware of the growing importance of electronics knowledge, and an inspiring professor who sparked my interest in electric motors led me to continue onto Mechatronics. There I specialised in adaptive mechatronic systems (robotics). It turned out to be a great fit for my combined hardware and software interests, and it laid a strong foundation for my career.
