As a Consultant Operations Research in the TripPlanner team, my main focus was to improve the product by analysing, exploring, and implementing new solutions and features. I used C++ and C# to contribute to the development of TripPlanner. I value creating a positive and supportive work environment and have organized several social, team-building, and innovation events that have helped build a strong and collaborative community within the team. Additionally, I served as the employee representative of the Operations Research (KL) department during an exciting time of growth and change, ensuring that our department's interests were represented in the merger with Business Intelligence.
As a Data Scientist at the police, my job was to create advanced and meaningful analysis by using the right Data Science techniques. I tackled complex intelligence problems to support data-driven work with technical knowledge. When analyzing data, I always look for trends, patterns, and anomalies, and if necessary, I initiate further research to uncover any hidden insights. In addition to my main responsibilities, I also supervised and coached a junior Data Scientist and onboarded new members. As a go-to expert, my colleagues relied on me to stay up to date with new opportunities on the analytics platform and to share my knowledge by teaching programming courses.
During my time as a trainee at IBM, I was part of a training program that included consulting, HTML(5), CSS3, JavaScript, Angular2 with TypeScript, NodeJS, SCRUM, and Blockchain. I enjoyed collaborating with my colleagues on various initiatives and contributing to the overall success of these committees. My experience at IBM provided me with a foundation in various technical areas, as well as the soft skills needed to excel in a team environment.
