- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for interventional glaucoma therapies (XEN45® Gel Stent, DURYSTA®), Dry Eye Disease, Glaucoma Data Point Observations (DPOs), and Eye Care Medical Affairs resources. - Lead medical education initiatives, including journal clubs and scientific exchange programs for local ophthalmologists, optometrists, and residents, fellows, and academic faculty at institutions such as Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Larkin Community Hospital, North Broward Ophthalmology and University of South Florida. - Provide scientific and educational support for clinical research programs, including gene therapy trials in neovascular AMD, diabetic retinopathy, and interventional glaucoma. - Conduct field medical affairs activities across Central and South Florida, building strategic relationships with eye care professionals, academic centers, and group practices while identifying educational and clinical gaps to inform medical strategy and improve patient care in glaucoma and retina. Site evaluation, site initiation, routine monitoring, and closeout visits executed in assigned US and Central American sites. Served as primary point of contact for investigative sites, supporting clinical trial execution and strengthening sponsor-site relationships. Identified potential investigators for future trials.
