Tampa, Florida, United States
Hello! I'm an Industrial Engineering student at the University of South Florida with a growing interest in operations, project management, supply chain, logistics, and process improvement. I'm fascinated by how systems, people, and processes come together to solve real-world problems, and I'm always looking for ways to improve efficiency, support teams, and understand the bigger picture. Moving from Colombia to the United States gave me more than just opportunities; it gave me a new lens. I learned to adapt, connect across cultures, and approach every challenge with curiosity and determination. I'm naturally curious and proactive, and I genuinely enjoy exploring new areas of engineering, gaining hands-on experience, and learning from people across different industries. I believe every opportunity, big or small, is a chance to grow, and I try to make the most of each one. I am always open to network, learn from others, and discover new opportunities to develop both professionally and personally.
As President of the Colombian Student Association (COLSA), I oversee the overall direction and operations of a 200+ member organization, leading a 12-officer executive board to plan and execute cultural events, community outreach, and campus collaborations that celebrate Colombian identity and foster belonging at USF.
As Vice President of Marketing, I lead a team of 10 directors to deliver 20+ monthly digital content and promotional initiatives, boosting digital engagement and expanding SHPE’s visibility through cross-campus collaborations and outreach events.
As a marketing director, I coordinated 25+ outreach initiatives and tabling events that enhanced chapter visibility, increased engagement by 33%, and optimized resources to save 25% of the marketing budget.
