Leading the top 2 core priorities in Microsoft Teams: Privacy by Design and Security. In Privacy by Design, I’m driving the following workstreams: - Setup process, wikis, reporting, and automations for resolving bugs detected by privacy detection tools and incidents - Established E2E privacy testing for Teams/IC3 for early detection of privacy regressions reducing privacy incidents - Analyzed and designed gating for privacy/security reviews to ensure every feature released has linked and completed privacy/security reviews. - Designed privacy review skills to be added to internal Teams AI chatbot to decrease the time to complete privacy reviews, in collaboration with the Trust copilot team - Created and scaled the privacy champ program across the Teams org in partnership with M365 Privacy Managers, enabling champs to triage and approve low-risk reviews - reducing review turnaround time and alleviating bottlenecks. Additionally led the Vancouver Teams Mentorship Program and mentored a TPM in the privacy space, providing guidance, onboarding support, and helping accelerate contributions to privacy initiatives. In Security, I’m driving the following workstreams: - Achieved 80% reduction in non-SFI security debt for the Teams org through security documentation, updating S360 KPIs, integrating with debt management tools, reporting, and automated reminders. - Created powerbi dashboards to track SFI and non-SFI S360 KPIs - Lead and scaled security champ program across the Teams org for feature security reviews through reporting, training, documentation, and much more.
Lead 2 areas in Microsoft Teams– Instrumentation of Telemetry for web/desktop/mobile clients and EUDB compliance. I drove the following workstreams: - Led E2E execution of EUDB compliance milestones in collaboration with engineering, mobile, and analytics teams—achieving operational readiness and enabling Teams’ EUDB compliance at the end of 2023. - Led Gallatin & AirGap privacy compliance for EUPI telemetry, partnering with instrumentation, core processing, reporting, and IDEAs teams to validate and surface data - Developed OCTO telemetry instrumentation framework roadmap, addressing major data quality gaps and aligning instrumentation practices across Teams’ clients. - Improved THVM process by aligning with existing blocking workflows and increasing bug resolution velocity, reducing pipeline COGs impact, and releasing tooling to various Teams clients - Improved telemetry userbi/logging schema enforcement to improve consistency in metrics and traceability to feature team - Setup instrumentation office hours bookings and automation tooling
Managed the logging, Activity Tracker & QRadar data pipelines in VPC NextGen Cloud. Instrumented IKS automated upgrades, audit logging, and various compliance programs which includes FedRamp, SOC2, and FSC. Architectured and implemented customer facing logs. Recognized with the IBM 'Eminence & Excellence Awards' for the year 2019 and also for 2020. Recipient of IBM 'Compliance Leadership' award in 2021.
- Led development of a portal and mobile app (OGC Pilot) for DHS first responders, built backend with MyBatis/MySQL, deployed on AWS, and authored full documentation. - Developed and delivered a web portal for water well data upload and analytics using Leaflet and Highcharts for RBC blue water/rockyview project. - Built Arctic data parser for Natural Resources Canada; improved SensorThings API in collaboration with Lockheed Martin. - Created dashboards for Environment Canada and 3DR drones (CloudUAV), and developed a multi-STA dashboard for SensorUp. - Authored AngularJS library and official documentation for SensorThings API; created video tutorials and evaluated third-party libraries.
- Program and develop solutions for the website called Place2Give. - Designed and developed libraries for client’s developers that will use the Give_Api project. The libraries will be used by the developers in order to easily integrate the existing API into their website. - Create database management and support and test documentation.
- Design, develop, implement, and test the graphic user interface. It will begin with research on relevant image processing tools, such as the software ImageJ. Primarily the software will provide new functionality for users to help diagnose early detection of neurological diseases especially multiple sclerosis. - It will integrate the texture analysis algorithm into the interface. It will also test the button functions, computing ability, and output accuracy of the interface. Finally, the results will be derived using the new tool and perform basic statistical analysis. - Responsible to teach and help 1st year engineering students in math & software eng courses
