Hello my name is Mariah and currently I work in the mental health field. I am an assessment clinician for the mental health urgent care clinic in Sacramento, CA. My current duties consist of assessing clients for safety and linking them to ongoing mental health care resources. I have also worked for Crestwood Behavioral health, as a recovery Coach, at their psychiatric health facility. Prior to mental health I was working full time and caring for my two elderly parents. I took care of them for 4 years before they both passed away. While caring for them I learned about medication management, medical terminology, vitals, wound care, budgeting, and patience. I also have experience with case management as I have worked for Alta regional and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
