This unit within the Academic Services area of the Office of the Provost provides critical leadership to the wide range of academic programming that greatly enhances the student experience at Dallas College. While not an exhaustive list, Dr. Boccalandro will provide leadership, guidance, and coordination for such areas as Phi-Theta-Kappa and other Honor Societies, Honors Program, Career and Technical Enrichment Programs including SkillsUSA, and other vital programming.
Collaborates in the fundraising effort of the new Advancement Office of Cedar Valley College (CVC). Participates in the creation and and implementation of a development plan that details how the organization solicits donors and identifies funding sources such as grants, in-kind donations, charitable events and marketing opportunities. Spends time personally soliciting donors, creating strong relationship and providing stewardship for donors. Provides leadership to a multidisciplinary team for effective college sustainability initiatives, activities, programs and community outreach through the Sustainable Communities Institute (SCI), a multidimensional global institution. The SCI has been charged with providing leadership and guidance for a sustainable economic development future for the region of southern Dallas and northern Ellis counties. The goal is to provide administrative support and oversight of the work with all college constituencies to strengthen and expand sustainability practices and programs in keeping with the college’s vision and mission. Coordinates and provides leadership for the collection of data and preparation of the CVC Green House Gas Report, Climate Action Plan and Progress Reports for Second Nature / American Colleges and Universities President’s Climate Commitment. Member of the CVC Strategic Planning Committee, Sustainability Team, Enrollment Committee, Master Plan Core Team and President's Cabinet.

Professor of the AACSB Accredited Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business. Teaching the Capstone Experience designed to integrate all earlier course work of the MBA students. The goal of this course is to develop in the students the ability to consider an enterprise as an integrated entity, to use the concepts of policy and strategy, and to understand the environmental constraints and ethical considerations facing an organization. This course is taken in the final semester of the MBA students.
Director and Founder: Gave technical and administrative support as the former Vice President/ CFO for the start up of the company, which is a branch office of a 14 year old Venezuelan organizational development consultant firm. Represented the company in the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GDHCC) (2008).
Co-facilitating week-end and evening strategic planning workshops for the Hispanic Leader's Strengthening project of St. Ann's Parrish in Coppell, TX. Has collaborated in the design and delivery of curricula for the Hispanic Ministry leaders, these workshops and training has incorporated the formation in virtues.
Was in charge of leading the development of the Fundraising Plan of HWNT- Dallas Chapter. Has been volunteering in the grant writing process for the scholarships for Latina girls to continue studying college.
