I have 20+ years’ experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs across multiple continents. I work with business and technology leaders to drive complex change from strategy through to delivery. I specialize in Agile Coaching, transformation, and building products and services at scale.. I’m particularly interested in AI ethics, and in the tension between building efficient, high-performing systems and ensuring they are used responsibly. Agile Process Leadership: Embedded Agile practices across engineering teams to improve planning, collaboration, and delivery. Supported backlog refinement, sprint execution, and iterative improvement while ensuring alignment with SRE goals and team velocity. Release Process Improvement (R2D): Served as a Quality Reviewer within Microsoft’s Safe Deployment Program, overseeing the production readiness of Azure code releases. Conducted detailed release reviews to assess technical readiness, deployment risk, and operational impact. Identified gaps in safe deployment practices, held high-risk releases where required, and worked closely with engineering teams to define mitigation plans and drive remediation through to completion. Site Reliability Engineering: Led TPM initiatives to improve reliability, availability, and operational excellence for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Partnered with engineering and product teams to enhance platform health, strengthen incident response, and improve the customer experience.
Customer Impact at Scale: Led high-impact AI and cloud modernization projects at scale, helping customers across EMEA accelerate Azure adoption and maximize business value. Partnered with technical and business stakeholders to guide solution design, improve cloud readiness, and drive measurable outcomes, earning consistent praise and turning customers into fans. Inclusive Culture & Community Leadership: Led EMEA CXP Culture Club. Participated in Hispanic and women-in-tech initiatives: delivered LLM session (in Spanish) for “Chicas en IA” and hosted AMA with Scott Guthrie for HOLA ERG, promoting connection and belonging across diverse communities. Agile Leadership & Enablement: Acted as Scrum Master and lead coach for engineering Hackathons. Delivered Agile training sessions and supported teams across the region in adopting Agile practices to improve execution, collaboration, and delivery outcomes.
Program Delivery Excellence: Led large-scale, multi-million-dollar customer programs across EMEA, using Agile delivery to drive transparency, trust, and success, earning three awards for project excellence, including the prestigious Gold Award for the Grand Egyptian Museum program. Agile Transformation & Community Leadership: Appointed Microsoft’s first Agile Coach in EMEA and later one of only four Master Agile Coaches worldwide. Guided internal and customer teams through Agile transformations using Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps practices.
