As a Technical Writer, I create and update end-user documentation for various software products. My role involves collaborating with various teams and SMEs to gather information, technical content creation, data synthesis and attending scrum and refinement sessions to better understand the features being developed. During my previous role I worked as a Sales Customer Operations Specialist, performing various order management activities concerning partner orders and working together with the relevant internal departments (Logistics Department, Back Office, Factory, Sales Team etc.) to ensure the proper and smooth carrying out of the order-to-cash process. I hold a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting and a Bachelor’s degree in English and German Language and Literature, both from the University of Bucharest. I use the English language for my current position and used the German language for previous roles.
Authoring and updating client-facing and internal documentation for a diverse range of software products. Tailoring the documentation style and format to suit the different needs and requirements of various end-users. Interviewing SMEs, participating in relevant meeting sessions and analyzing related source materials to gather the information needed to document new features. Facilitating stakeholder management and cross-department communication to ensure data accuracy and conformity. Using the MadCap suite of products to author content (Flare, Capture, and Mimic).
