Wrote a report for the University of Oxford Department of Education Sustainability Team on strategies for teaching geography in a changing world.
- Developed skills in topographic mapping, LiDAR data processing and spatial data infrastructure through 1:1 mentorship with senior professionals. - Trained in advanced geomatics workflows, including photogrammetric pipelines, GNSS/IMU trajectory refinement and national airborne LiDAR processing within ETRS-TM35FIN / N2000 frameworks. - Studied AI applications in geospatial data production, diachronic analysis using multi-decadal aerial archives and strategic initiatives including a defence grade national Digital Twin and Arctic SDI harmonisation.
Working with the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford, OEA aims to facilitate the transition to a post carbon world. Two placement roles: 1. Collaborated with the Oxford University Museum of Natural History on the design and testing of visitor engagement experiences around sustainable futures. 2. Participated in the Doorstep Nature citizen science and environmental education initiative, exploring land management, biodiversity and sustainable food systems.
Conducted research on the role and contribution of Georgian environmental NGOs (in both Russian and English).
