As a first-generation physician, I am passionate about improving care for underserved populations through clinical care, research, education, and community engagement. During medical school at Weill Cornell Medicine, I served as Clinical Director of the Weill Cornell Community Clinic, leading initiatives to expand access to care while mentoring medical trainees. My research has focused on perioperative outcomes, environmental health, and healthcare systems. I hope to build a career that combines patient care, teaching, research, and health systems improvement.

Designed risk assessment strategies by researching financial, geographical, and technical challenges for the CDC and Maïa, a developing mosquito repellent ointment startup, and formulated Covid-19 estimates for displaced Venezuelan migrants in Colombia.
