More than 15-year experience in governmental affairs, business development, corporate legal matters, and team management at international level, including high-level negotiations with public authorities in Africa, CIS, China and LATAM and handling of major successful commercial disputes around the world
• Representation of the leadership of the organisation in relations with governments, members, partners and media, including at high-level events (World Trade Organisation, World Customs Organisation, UN, EU). • Direct supervision of the global expansion strategy of the organisation through the management of all regional offices in Belgium, Russia, Turkey, USA and China. • Unprecedented success for the organisation to settle major customs disputes, in particular with Russia at the highest Governmental level. • Effective promotion of the organisation and defence of the interests of the road transport industry in new countries, notably China, Pakistan, India, the Middle East and the Americas.
• Operational Management of the TIR and IT departments comprising some 75 persons • Ensuring growth of 30 % in TIR volumes. • Successful direct supervision of a claim against against one of the biggest international insurance brokers • Management of the e-TIR project team, allowing the first ever paperless international TIR customs border crossing (between Turkey and Iran).
