• Prepared patient for examination and treatment, obtain patient history and vital signs. Complete documentation on the electronic medical records properly. • Maintain exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials and ensure cleanliness. • Prepare, setting up instruments and equipment, obtain consent and assist (MD, APRN) during treatment, surgery, examination and testing of patients including: Endometrial ablation, LEEP, Hysteroscopy, Dilation and curettage, Endometrial biopsy and Colposcopy. • Administers medications, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, blood drawn and intravenous fluids as required. • Respond to refer incoming patient-related phone calls. Scheduled follow up appointments, and/or surgical procedures. • Answer and triage telephone calls, take referral information for patients who will undergo any procedure, schedule procedures, prepare laboratory requisitions, assist with faxing prescriptions or call in prescriptions to pharmacy and any pharmacy, procedures or equipment insurance prior authorizations. • Instruct patients and family regarding medications, treatment and surgery procedures. • Full fill environmental responsibilities as assigned, which may include: cleaning exam/ procedure rooms and instrument and equipment between patient’s visits to maintain infection protocol. • Cleaning sterilizer according to scheduled maintenance program and keeping appropriate records; ordering, storing supplies, restocking exam/ procedures rooms.
