Marcus Steinberg is a Cloud and Automation Strategist at Accenture, focusing on client-facing initiatives to adopt innovative technologies to enhance their organization. Leading the shift from technology to problem-solving, he focuses on delivering tailored solutions through cloud, data analytics, and automation tools. Marcus leads automation‑driven testing initiatives for mission‑critical federal programs, serving as an Automation Testing Manager for the Department of Defense. He designs and delivers scalable test automation solutions, stand up new testing programs, and drive quality, efficiency, and reliability across complex delivery environments. Marcus manages teams of automation developers and testers, launching new automation engagements and strengthening testing maturity to support secure, high‑impact mission outcomes. In addition to his automation leadership, Marcus also supports Accenture’s LLP organization, contributing to mission‑critical initiatives for the State of Pennsylvania account and the Amazon–Accenture Business Group (AABG) Public Sector. His career began at Deloitte, working in their project management office as a quality assurance consultant. As a consultant within Deloitte’s core business operations in the government and public sector, Marcus supported digital transformation solutions with a focus on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The PMO managed deliverables for over 25 state government agencies, including PennDot, Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, and PA Public Utility Commission. After two years at Deloitte, Marcus was the Automation Practice Lead for a Sacramento-based technology start-up called 11:59 for three years, where he established an automation practice for the firm’s largest client, a state department of public health. Driving the establishment and growth of Automation-as-a-Service with a focus on robotic processing automation (RPA) and digital transformation, Marcus led the creation of a $3.5 million ARR practice, enhancing delivery efficiency and ensuring operational excellence.
