I am the founding President and co-owner of HealingChoice™, a 501c3 non profit organization founded in 2005. HealingChoice™ is a Christian umbrella organization for several types of therapeutic care. Initially born out of our work in ministry we have a deep care for those who are working in ministry or have left ministry for some reason. To learn more about our work with ministry families click here. As HealingChoice™ grew and developed into a therapy clinic we broadened our work to people who are struggling with relationship issues, stress, depression, and anxiety, for example. Our work with our clients is primarily focused on the Christian mandate to "love one another" (John 13:34). Thus, we feel it is our mission to love all people regardless of their struggle in life, sexual identity, or view of religion. As a marriage and family therapist and supervisor, I have always had a passion for helping people overcome problems they view as getting in the way of life's pleasures. I received my Doctor of Philosophy degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University. I specialize in helping people overcome trauma and symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief and loss. I also enjoy helping couples heal from betrayal, manage conflict, and enhance their friendship. Simply, I want to help you make your marriage work. I often work with couples to help improve communication and provide the skills that can restore the foundation of the marriage.
