Over more than two decades, I have worked hands-on with systems from multiple manufacturers, including Bruker, Waters, and SCIEX, which has given me a vendor-independent, pragmatic view of what actually works in real laboratory environments. Beyond the technical side, I bring multi-year leadership experience in customer support, sales support, and market-facing roles. I have led and scaled support structures, translated complex analytical problems into actionable solutions for customers, and supported purchasing and investment decisions from both a technical and economic perspective. Our prime aim is that our customers get your job in protein ID, quantitation or characterization done! To achieve this, we provide specialized instrument demonstrations, customer trainings and technical sales support as well as applicative customer support all over the EMEAI region. Led a Kaizen on grabbing the current state of the support "products": instrument demonstrations, customer trainings and support intervention on customer problems with instruments or applications. The value stream mappings (VSM) from this Kaizen led to a number of process improvements in the EMEA and global demo organization including a revised demo process to bring down the lead times and the times used for as well as the number of instrument demonstrations.

Member of the international steering committee for the MOBI4Health EU FP7 project. Evaluation of the project and providing feedback and suggestions on research and operations. Project has been successfully completed with external auditing in Oct/Nov 2016.
Responsible for instrument demonstrations, customer trainings and technical sales support as well as applicative customer support. Heading an international team of >25 highly skilled specialists providing pre- and post-sales customer support in Europe, IMEA, South America and Asia. Involved in marketing, promotion and sales of capital equipment in the (bio-)chemistry/pharma/medical devices area in an B2B environment as well as in interaction with academic and other public research facilities. During that time consolidated the German life science demo labs at one site, reducing the instrument inventory by 15%, established CRM for the global support team for demo and training scheduling, dispatching and customer support and trained the global team. Improved the teams efficiency by >20% and the highly motivated team produced demo win rates significantly above the market share.
I coordinated the collaboration with Swiss large scale proteomics company Geneva Proteomics ("GeneProt"). Tasks were technical support, IP exchange, instrument maintenance coordination and channeling the information between both companies. To secure a follow-up project for Bruker I co-invented a new mass calibration technology for ion trap mass spectrometers allowing them to produce 30 ppm mass accuracy.
