Ideas either change how someone sees the world, or how they feel about it. Most of them don't. I've spent over two decades making sure mine do. I currently lead creative at Qatar Airways, the only airline in history to win World's Best Airline nine times and World's Best Business Class eleven times. Official Airline Partner of FIFA, the UEFA Champions League, and Formula 1. Fast Company calls it the world's coolest airline. Before that I also served as de facto ECD at JWT Kuwait, later Wunderman Thompson Kuwait - sole creative lead across every client account, reporting directly to Sasan Saeidi, CEO of JWT Gulf, subsequently Global Chief Business Officer at VML and World President & Chairman of the IAA. I started at FABRICA, Benetton's applied creativity laboratory, where I was one of only 8 people accepted to the visual department in 2003 out of a global pool of applicants. It was there I understood that great creative work is never an accident - it is the product of rigorous thinking, cultural curiosity, and the refusal to settle for the obvious. That conviction has travelled with me across over two decades. It still drives everything I make.
