Ireland
I am the Chief Commercial Officer with Dublin GAA. Prior to joining Dublin GAA in December 2025, I was the Head of Communications & Media with Leinster Rugby for 12 years and looked after all forms of communications for the club, as well as managing communications for both senior teams competing in the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Series, the BKT United Rugby Championship and Investec Champions Cup. Having completed a degree in Business and Legal Studies in UCD, I qualified as a solicitor in 2007 with William Fry Solicitors and this experience of working in a top five firm gave me a first class understanding of a professional working environment. In 2009 I joined leading Irish PR agency Pembroke Communications (now Teneo) to work in their Sports and Sponsorship division. My client list included the GAA, the LGFA, Dublin GAA County Board, Bord Gáis Energy U-21 Hurling Championship, AIG, Under Armour, Sports Surgery Clinic, Setanta Sports and the FBD 7s. In addition to my qualifications above, I completed a Diploma in PR and Event Management in the Dublin Business School in 2012 and in 2024 I completed my MSc in Business (Leadership & Management Practice), having completed all three professional diplomas in the UCD Smurfit Business School. In December 2020 I completed a Diploma in Advanced Management Performance, in June 2023, I completed a Diploma in Strategy, Development and Innovation, and finally in June 2024 I completed a Diploma in Leadership Development. I always had an interest in media and in sport and I am lucky to have worked with the likes of Setanta Sports, Foinse, Irish Independent, Raidió na Life, Raidió na Gaeltachta, BBC NI Radio, Newstalk, Irish Daily Star, TV3, Eir Sports and on a freelance basis with the likes of TG4, SKY Sports, GAA GO and Dublin GAA on rugby, Gaelic Games and soccer commentary in Irish and English.
I am responsible for the management, growth and evolution of the Dublin GAA commercial, marketing and communications model and am part of the Dublin GAA leadership team, working closely with CEO Finbarr O’Mahony and the wider team based at Parnell Park.
Delighted to join the Board of the Irish Sport and Exercise Sciences Association in a voluntary capacity and to offer my communications advice as the relatively new organisation looks to grow over the next few years. There are some brilliant professionals working in this space in Ireland - many of whom I have met and indeed work with at Leinster Rugby - and I look forward to working on their behalf. Am also looking forward to learning and developing myself through meeting new people and dealing with different organisations as my role develops in the years to come.
