As a Business Development Manager for Bank of Melbourne I have the best of both worlds: the opportunity to provide professional corporate relationship management to clients while working with them to help achieve their financial outcomes. As Business Development Manager I have the pleasure of working with a range of customers to identify their banking requirements and help advise them on a range of tailored solutions. I thrive on providing practical solutions to customers through providing knowledgeable and trusted advice, along with the opportunity to build great relationships that sees me bring in repeat business. Other duties I engage with include: - Manage a portfolio of high value SME customers, sourced from referrals, repeat business, and other prospecting activities. - Cross-sell opportunities with customers to ensure their banking experience is meeting all of their needs - Relationship management - Networking - Identifying opportunities for improvement with Business Connect's offerings
- Work closely with LBM/RM’s to support their customer to develop effective cash flow solutions and adding value through the implementation of transactional banking products and services - Meet with new to bank and existing customers through the video conference network to set up a range of payment solutions including merchant, e-commerce and recurring billing
- Actively set a development and learning schedule for newly recruited bankers in a mentor role. - Provide weekly reports to senior management on a wide range of topics including nominal revenue generated and employee development. - Ensure that my team of bankers are compliant and following the banks procedures and protocols. - Encourage bankers to actively deepen the conversations they have with our customers by ensuring they are following the guidelines set out in the banks customer promise.
