In 1980, Marcus E. Ullrich established his accounting firm in Woodland, CA, and Anthony J. Delevati joined the team the next year. Within a decade, they partnered to create Ullrich Delevati CPAs, and together, they set out to grow a practice that would serve and bolster their community. In the years that followed, we grew from a small partnership to a full-service accounting firm, helping individuals and businesses not just in our immediate community, but beyond in the greater Northern California area and bordering states. In 1995, we added Jim Engstrom as a Principal for our West Sacramento Office. As our firm grew through the new millennium, so did the dynamics of our team. And in 2020, Mark passed the baton of Managing Partner to Tony while the firm added Senior Accountants Lisa Martinez Dunham and Vivian Plank to the team Partners. And today, our four Partners, our Principal, and our talented team of accounting professionals and support staff, allows us to bring our clients well-rounded financial expertise, sound business advice, and personalized tax planning services that help them gain clarity and experience the bright financial future they deserve.
As the founding partner of Ullrich Delevati CPAs, Marcus Ullrich has not only guided the firm’s growth but has also established the business practices and processes that have allowed for our success. With over 40 years of experience as a practicing CPA, Marcus understands that in order to plan and implement an effective tax strategy that allows the clients to achieve their financial goals, one must thoroughly understand the client’s business and financial needs. Marcus specializes in agricultural accounting, mergers and acquisitions, offers-in-compromise, business valuation, strategic planning, historic rehabilitation projects, and business consulting. His expertise includes developing and delivering innovative solutions for complex tax problems and financial challenges, and he is widely respected for his remarkable ability to successfully combine theoretical concepts with practical applications. When Marcus isn’t in the office, he enjoys golfing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and dancing with his wife, Audre. Marcus has always been active in the community and has served on several boards for a variety of organizations.
