I graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in accounting and finance in May 2014. Afterwards I completed a Winter 2015 audit internship for Doeren Mayhew, and have worked as an accountant for Tempur-Sealy Intl in financial reporting. I currently hold an advanced audit staff position at Crosslin public accounting firm. I passed all four parts of the CPA exam in 2015, and officially became CPA licensed in September 2016.
Continuing my skills and procedures from my audit staff position, but with increased responsibilities that include maintaining the budget, work delegation, PBC lists, and report preparation.
Work on engagements in various fields and industries. Performed preliminary analytics, imports of financial data, tested all significant audit areas, and performed audit wrap up. Maintained communication with client through all phases of the audit
I work in the sales accounting function for Tempur-Sealy as well as handle the fixed assets on the TPNA side, and perform all month end j/e for A/P. I'm currently leading the fixed asset audit for Tempur-Pedic North America. I extrapolate data from SAGE, Business Objects, Oracle, and Hyperion, and use it to furbish new reports. I also perform quality control review on our month, quarter, and year end binders.
