EOC Expansion in Hellesdon, Norwich • The objective was to create extra office capacity for the EOC call handling at Hellesdon by leasing additional suitable office space in proximity to the Hellesdon site. In doing so making sure all IT Infrastructure requirements have been met and addressed. Liaising with current occupant and dealing with third parties to create new environment. • Fit and make ready new leased premises in 18 central Avenue, Norwich, Plan and Decant 3 departments IT, Finance and Call East to new leased premises. • Refurbish the now empty areas of the decanted departments in Hellesdon in order to then move the Main call centre staff into these areas on a temporary basis. • Refurbish the main call centre with new networking, Desks and IT equipment, ready to move the call Centre staff back in. • Then created new training environments and conferencing suites in the spaces left behind. Fitting out with new IT and AV equipment.
1. Security Office Move and B51 Refurb • Confirm requirements, agree milestones for the move of the services within the Security Office and agree resources (various internal and external parties) into B51. • Confirmed the requirements for B51 refurbishment, assessed status of work. Worked with 3rd Parties to address. • Plan and manage all activities (incl. progress reporting, issue escalation, RAID log, Project governance, commissioning etc) to move Security services to B51 and any remaining B51 refurbishment changes identified. Changes managed according to the IT and Estate change processes. 2. ILS Refurb • Confirmed requirements and assessed current state. • Documented the expected outcome and agreed the IT resource plan and schedule and managed to completion. • Manage the activities currently inflight to re-instate all network services (IT and Estates related) • Worked with various parties to complete.
Responsible for leading a major project roll-out of Office 365 for the trust. Key contributions and successes: • Creating test plans with current clinical applications • Planning and executing Upgrades to incompatible applications • Creating an Early Adopters Programme • Liaising with staff and management to obtain and identify potential issues with the full rollout. • Creating a project board and reporting to that board on a weekly basis. • Liaising with Microsoft and NHS digital to obtain exclusion periods for some major applications, in order to buy time to address. • Working with the support function to hand over to BAU
