My time at GreenMind taught me many things. Primarily, I attained a technical prowess that I didn't possess before my employment at the company. Here, I've repaired countless phones and some laptops, too, with a focus on Apple products. An example of this could be a broken iPhone screen that would need to be replaced with a new one, followed by testing and official Apple calibration after the more practical part of the process would be concluded. Other examples could be a MacBook with a dysfunctional trackpad that I then got to replace, or a Samsung phone that needed a new battery replacement. Besides the repairs themselves, I've helped out with a series of other elements to have a functioning workshop and store: - Extensive usage of the Odoo platform. - Helping out with customer service, mostly written, but sometimes in person. - Ordering parts to, and shipping from, our branch. - Maintaining the local spare-part stockpile. - Assisting new employees with technical tips, etc. My position at GreenMind also provided me with a good sense of purpose that I hope to achieve once again under future employment. This is because I got to be a cog in the machine of a more environmentally friendly way of humanity enjoying consumer electronics since each repair helped prevent an entirely new phone or laptop from being needed in its stead. I've learned a lot from working in Odense Municipality Mayor's Department's HR office. More specifically, I've mainly supported the department of the office that works with leadership development, HR and with providing good work environments. Besides being helpful with smaller tasks, like booking meetings for co-workers and creating spreadsheets for registering worker holidays in the office, I've spent most of my time registering thousands of work accidents that happened under the municipality's different branches of adminstration during the years 2020 and 2021. Using MS Excel, I've collected this data and done comparative analysis of it, including many different variables, providing a valuable overview of the amount of work accidents that happened in the muncipality, along with their circumstances. I've also worked with updating theoretical and practical models for leadership development, as well as created questionnaries for use in leadership development educational days, for public servants wanting to climb higher in their professional hierarchies. Furthermore, I've helped to detect potential biases in, and providing quality assurance for, questionnaries used in the department. A very positive recommendation from the department can be provided upon request to me.
My work consisted on digitizing old documents from the archive and sorting them in the internal database. Furthermore, I got a behind the scenes look on how a modern art museum works.
Working here gave me an understanding of how a job in a regular supermarket works. I was assigned to clean, refill shelves, tidying the place up and readying the store for closing time. I worked 12 hours a week with shifts taking place at the tail-end of the day.

My abilities got tested in various ways: Mainly communication (including SoMe), writing press releases, reading up on the upcoming agendas for the local government in the municipality and providing policy analysis and recommendations for this local branch of Alternativet.
