Throughout my career I have worked towards the decarbonisation of the European economy by providing analytical insights to key decision makers, the trading community and policy makers. I have a proven track record of successfully handling large-scale projects as well as managing diverse teams.

At THEMA I am responsible for forecasting and analysing developments related to the EU Emission Trading system (EU ETS) and European power markets I have a keen interest in Europe’s decarbonisation pathway and more than ten years of relevant experience across various employers and locations.
Together with my team of 20+ energy market experts based in Karlsruhe, London and Singapore I am forecasting prices and analyse trends in Europe's rapidly transforming power markets. Further, we closely monitor and predict key developments for the EU Emission Trading System and provide insights into the technical analysis of key energy markets. My role involves the management and evolution of our analytical products.
I am heading a team responsible for providing our clients with insights into the European power and carbon markets. The position involves the co-ordination of our quantitative and qualitative analysis, bringing together deep insights regarding the rapidly changing energy market landscape. My role includes the development of new and innovative products for the company to grow further in the energy analytics space. I am responsible for our client and prospect outreach and our thought leadership campaign.
As Managing Consultant I focus on topics around Carbon Pricing and Policies. My role involves project acquisition and management of carbon pricing related topics (EU ETS focus), international carbon pricing mechanisms, energy and climate policies as well as climate negotiations. Ecofys works with public and private clients across the globe.
