Career break at UX design

I decided to go on a career break to further explore my interest in User Experience (UX) design. I enrolled in a short course with the goal of finding an entry level position upon completion of my studies. I very much enjoyed the course, however towards the end I realised that I was more interested in UX design in an appreciative way (much like how one appreciates art in a gallery), rather than creating it myself.
