Leading National Integrated Health System (Bay Area) – Led a team of 8 Organizational Readiness and Adoption resources accountable for the design, planning, and execution of stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, communications, change management and readiness activities for a large portfolio of technology initiatives. Client employee population included over 200K employees in highly matrixed, complex clinical organization o Represented the change management function in large program governance bodies such as steering committee meetings to ensure executive awareness and appropriate escalation of issues with stakeholder adoption implications o Developed and implemented a project team effectiveness program to support the staff working on the initiative with the right tools, communications, leadership support and incentives Global Life Sciences Organization (Bay Area) – Supported the establishment of new functional quality and compliance department including definition of roles and responsibilities, governance structure, core offerings and associated change management (i.e. stakeholder analysis, communications strategy and plan, workshop design and facilitation, development of key messages and marketing assets)
Regional Healthcare Provider (Orange County) - Related to the centralization of hospital purchasing functions into a shared services center, Marcos developed and executed the stakeholder engagement strategy and workforce transition activities in partnership with functional SMEs in HR, Labor Relations, and Supply Chain. in this role, Marcos o Established technology driven feedback mechanisms for stakeholders to have real time accessibility to online tools to express concerns or ask questions o Facilitated employee impact assessment sessions with hospital material management leadership o Engaged in the process of developing gap analyses, job impact analyses and training needs assessments Leading Academic Medical Center (Houston) - Supported the development and facilitation of executive level workshops to define the strategic framework that would lead the institution’s transformation over the next 10 years. In this role, Marcos collaborated directly with the c-suite of the institution to define the organizational priorities that would shape the strategic plan
During his tenure at Capgemini, Marcos supported and led a variety of projects involving the change management and adoption of new technologies with Life Sciences and Technology clients. Taking into consideration the business needs and the end user requirements, developed and delivered user-centric, fit for purpose training and support strategies for large populations of stakeholders. In this role, Marcos honed-in his executive communication, facilitation, and leadership skills. He also co-founded the North American LGBT ERG starting a career long mission of reimagining the workplace to be a more inclusive and equitable environment.
In this role, Marcos found his passion for supporting the learning and development needs of individuals and teams.
