I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (Hons.) in electrical engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. I pursued the Ph.D. degree with the Distributed Electrical System Laboratory, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne, Switzerland. My research interests include real-time monitoring and control of active distribution networks with particular focus on synchrophasor-based applications.
Thesis Title: Resilient Synchrophasor Networks for the Real-Time Monitoring, Protection and Control of Power Grids: from Theory to Validation
