I have spent most of my career in the pharmaceutical industry within the exciting field of drug discovery. During that time I always could expand my theoretical knowledge and learn new methods and techniques. I am working closely together with my lab head and the team supporting research in the field of oncology. Dependent on the need of the projects I do molecular cloning, protein expression and protein purification. I also like to develop enzymatic assays and determine enzymatic constants. Two of my specialties are expression and purification of multi-protein complexes and protein modification with fluorescent dyes and biotin.
I am working at Novartis Oncology to discover innovative and transformative cancer therapies.
I am working for the biochemistry unit of the Basel Oncology department, supporting the fight against cancer.
