Marco Carlomagno is a journalist and secretary general of the Federation of Public Workers and Public Functions (FLP), an independent trade union association of managers and employees of the public administration. He holds a degree in law, business economics and sociology, is currently employed at the Italian Customs Agency and holds several positions in the Agency itself and in various public administrations. He is mediator, teacher and scientific director of great renown and experience in mediation, conciliation or alternative resolution of controversies according to D.I. 180/2010 and D.lgs 28/2010, with approval from the Ministry of Justice. He is a member of the “Guarantee committee for gender equality, improvement of workers’ wellbeing and against discriminations” at the Italian Customs Agency and of the Monitoring group of the “Smart working experimentation” of the Presidency of the Ministry Counsel. He is an expert in “Innovation Technology e blockchain” and a component of the Governing council of “Associazione Italia4Blockchain”, the first Italian association fostering the study, diffusion and knowledge of blockchain technology in Italy, foundation member of INATBA - International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications. Since 2002 he teaches taxation, civil and labour law in master’s degree and specialization courses in several universities, among which “Parthenope” University of Naples, “La Sapienza” and “Tor Vergata” Universities of Rome. He has taught civil law from 2011 through 2013 at the “specialization School in legal professions” of the Faculty of Law of “Suor Orsola Benincasa” University of Naples. From 2009 through 2015 he has been Coordinator of studies and teacher at the specialization courses for professional mediators at the “Parthenope” University of Naples. From 2007 through 2012 he has been a component of the working team “Labour market” of the Commission for labour and production sectors politics of CNEL. From 2018 through he has been a member of the Scientific counsel of the master’s degree in “Civil, domestic and consumeristic mediation. Alternative resolution of controversies in national and international contexts and management of overindebtedness crisis” of the Economics Department of the “Luigi Vanvitelli” University of Naples. He has published several books and essays on various journals and numerous articles for many Italian newspapers. Director of the “FLP News” magazine.
