Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Operations support: • Control and co-ordinate startup of the gas compression project; linking and directing operation and commissioning teams in field and from the control room • Commissioned Solar gas compressor and start-up • Write and edit startup procedure for various parts of the gas compression plant • Updating P&ID (red blue) • Accept sub systems for operations during commissioning activities Review DCS graphics, Cause & Effect, ESD, Fire & Gas • Work closely with various commissioning teams during the initial start up • Prepared turn arounds and execute them • Liaise with Rescue/Support Supervisor and Emergency Response Team during emergency situations • Supervise and training of local nationals in field Responsible Person Electrical: • Supervise High and Low voltage work by contractors • Incident investigation • Assessing electrical tech. to CEP/ AEP and SAEP • Compiling High voltage Switching Programs, High & Low voltage Isolations • Responsible for all power generation in Majnoon up tp 11KV • ABB High & Low Voltage Switchboards, ABB Protection/Control Relays. • Operating Solar driven gas/ diesel generators 6.6 KV and diesel driven Low voltage generators (caterpillar) • Worked with various transformers up to 11 KV • ABB Distribution and Load management systems • UPS systems (uninterruptible power supply) • Competent fault finding and analysis skills to provide engineering solutions • Electrical commissioning Gas plant: - Compex inspections prior handover (junction boxes and cable connections) - Earthing checks on all equipment, lighting and structures - Faultfinding and start-up of all equipment - Handover of UPS system to operations - Handover of substation to operations
