Meydan One Mall Project, CLIENT: Meydan Group LLC, VALUE: 400MIO EUR Meydan One Mall is a massive building part of a urban development project located between Meydan Area and Al Khail Road for a total value of 400 milion of Euro. Project involves excavation and piling activities plus the construction of 12 levels concrete building spreaded in 250000 sqm of working area. Total amount of concrete to be cast is ab. 1 milion cubic meters with a daily target of two thousand cubic meters. As well is included building of 3 Nos. towers as ski-slope foundations (Doka System MF240 + SK100) and 3 Nos high-rise buildings (hotel and officies) to be done with Doka Lubeca Self-Climbing System. The completion of the project is scheduled for june 2019. MAIN DUTIES: Construction Manager: 1) Responsible for production, quality and safety of 60000sqm of site area out of total scope of works including Hotel high-rise building. Actual total workforce involved in the area ab. 1200 people; 2) Planning activities and review of the master-plan in order to achieve the scheduled targets; 3) Definition of technical solutions and work methods for site; 4) Design review and active inputs to designer in order to optimize construction sequences, safety and cost; 5) Monitoring and planning of site KPIs with round table discussion in weekly construction meeting; 6) Preparation of 2 months look ahead plan for comparison with master plan; Formworks coordinator: 1) Design review and approval for Doka/Hunnebeck formworks drawings and design reports: Slabs, Columns, Corewalls (traditional and climbing), High-Rise; 2) Coordination with Supplier's Engineering and Operations Departments in order to provide site required materials and documentation; 3) Quantities plannig and site distribution optimization; 4) Collaboration with purchasing department and cost control for commercial plus budget review; 5) Preparation of 3 months look ahead construction planning for formworks quantities fine tuning;
Red Line North Underground Project (Doha Metro), CLIENT: Qatar Rail, VALUE: 2BIO EUR Red Line North Underground is part of Doha Metro Project and involves the excavation of 2 Nos. parallel tunnels with a length of 11,6km, inner diameter of 6.17m and 7 Nos. Stations (ab. 30m deep) for a total amount of 1.8 bilion of Euro. Total volume to be excavated is 800000cum for the tunnel and 1700000cum from the stations. Excavation of the tunnels has been done with 4 Nos. EPB TBMs, for stations and access shafts with traditional system plus shotcrete and rockbolting. MAIN DUTIES 1) Responsible for production, quality and safety for Tunnel Emergency Exit access shaft (ab. 32m deep with 14m DIA and MEP structure); 2) Piling, excavation, dewatering and soil improvement of the shaft plus connection to the existing TBM tunnels; 3) Daily coordination with technical office to implement changings and drawing improvements; 4) Procurement of materials and planning of activities prepared and discussed with management; 5) Concrete works for access adit completed with Doka travelling formwork constructed by customized steel arches and H20 timber beams; 6) Concrete works for Shaft lining walls carried out with customized Doka crane climbing formwork (MF240 – single side panels), 5 working days was the achieved cast to cast cycle time; 7) Concrete works for internal walls done with Doka Frami Xlife; 8) Deep experience in soil improvement intervention with cementitious and PU injections;
Red Line North Underground Project (Doha Metro), CLIENT: Qatar Rail MAIN DUTIES: 1) Design optimization for tunnel concrete segments reinforcement in order to reduce stainless steel consumption; 2) Precast yard concrete distribution plan and Herrenknecht steel moulds allocation (18 Nos. Rings); 3) QA/QC Office responsible, appointed to review all the quality documentation to be submitted to client for milestones achievements; 4) Coordination with European suppliers for material provision and shipping to Qatar in order to feed the yard on time;
Abu Hamour Tunnel Project, CLIENT: ASHGHAL, VALUE: 93MIO EUR Abu Hamour Mesaimeer Drainage Project involves the construction of main water collection tunnel 9.5 km long with an excavation diameter of 4,5m, total value of 93 milion of Euro. Total theoretical volume to be disposed from the tunnel is about 151000cum plus 6500cum from the excavation of 21 Nos. access shafts with variable depths, and 8 Nos secondary shafts connected to the main line with microtunnelling system (pipe jacking). Excavations have been carried out for the tunnel with 2 Nos Earth Pressure Balance Tunnel Boring Machines and for the access shafts with traditional excavation, shotcrete and rockbolting of the exposed surface. Cast in place concrete works (ab.54200cum) were done in the non-tbm tunnel with travelling formwork, and for access lining walls with crane climbing system. The project has been awarded from ENR as Best Water Project of 2017. MAIN DUTIES: 1) Site start up activities and pre condition survey for existing utilities prior to works commencement; 2) Receiving and logistic installation plan for 3 Nos. 20T gantry cranes to be used for muck away of tbm excavated material and concrete segments feeding; 3) Preparation of all the technical support documentation for 2 Nos EPB Herrenknecht TBMs reciving, assembly, lowering and launching; 4) Calculation reports, method statements and shop drawings preparation for all the main temporary structures of the site, gantry crane foundation beams and rails, concrete saddle and steel thrust frame for TBM launching, cantilever platforms for utilities support around the access shafts; 5) Coordination with Engineer’s Inspector and subcontractors; 6) Preparation of Pre-Condition Survey for Site Start Up;
