As a Senior Consultant at areto, I have continuously followed my passion for data analytics and Business Intelligence. I have worked on several projects as a Business Intelligence developer and architect for international clients from different industries. The focus of my work was on the conception and development of scalable Data Warehouses as well as the management and implementation of Data Science projects.
As Head of the Data Science & Data Engineering team, I spearheaded the consulting business in the field of Data Science, Machine Learning and Data Engineering.
To discover the world of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence outside of the SAP context, I joined pwc cundus. As a consultant, I mainly worked in regulatory reporting projects for international customers in the finance industry. I used the Business Intelligence stack from Microsoft and developed supporting software with Java EE.
At ConVista, I wrote my Bachelor’s thesis about extracting tax reports (German “E-Bilanz”) from SAP FI systems and their filing to the tax authorities. Afterwards, I joined ConVista as a consultant focussing on Business Intelligence projects. My work covered customising SAP FI/CO/BW systems, programming with ABAP, developing software with Java EE (especially micro services) and analysing data with R. During my time as a consultant, I completed a Master’s Degree in Information Systems at University of Cologne. My final thesis was about value-oriented controlling of insurance companies in real-time with a Business Intelligence architecture I designed for a customer of ConVista.
