My story goes back a long way. After graduating from ISEF, I taught swimming in Turin. My passion for sports led me to play in the youth team of Torino F.C. I had the opportunity to coach Libertas SAFA with Corrado Rosso, leading the Turin swimming team in the C league to important successes. Sports have always played a fundamental role in my life, starting with the applicability of sports education to everyday life: it teaches the rules of the game. I don't mean the rules of a particular sport, but the rules of engagement. If you follow the rules of sport, you follow the rules of a business, which, without rules, goes nowhere. I have lived abroad since I was young: first in Toronto, then in New York to study Economics, then in Lyon as a teacher at the ISEF, where I obtained a degree in Sport Science at the Université Claude Bernard in Lyon, with highest honours. I continued my studies and graduated in Law, with honours and distinction, from the Pegaso University of Naples, with a thesis in Tax Law with publication rights. The University subsequently entrusted me with the professorship of Business Communication Strategies at the Faculty of Business Economics. In 1992, I started working with Publifoto. In 1994, I founded LaPresse with my brother Massimo. The agency became a leading media company in the Italian information and communication sector. In 2005, I took on the role of President of Nuoto Torino, financing the team and leading it in competitions, also signing up French champion Laure Manadou. In the meantime, LaPresse continued to grow: alongside photo reportage, news videos were introduced – we were the first in Italy! The next step was internationalisation: in 2008, I bought the rights to distribute the entire output of Associated Press in Italy and, two years later, LaPresse became – to my great pride – a News Agency. LAPRESSE IS NOW ITALY'S FIRST ENTREPRENEURIAL MULTIMEDIA NEWS AGENCY. It is a management agency, it is a television production company, it is a press office specialising in the promotion of visual content. Currently, I am also a university lecturer in Media and Communication at Universitas Mercatorum – University of Italian Chambers of Commerce. On the subject of education, in 2020 I obtained the Certificate of Corporate Finance at the NYU Stern School of Business in New York and, in 2021, the Coursera Certificate in Financial Markets at Yale University. There are still many challenges ahead of me.
