In this role, my main objective is to ensure that the certification and the continued airworthiness of Aero Sekur designs, modifications and repairs are established within the applicable airworthiness regulations.
Chief of the design engineers for the Aero Sekur Design Organisation. In addition I'm acting as Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for Cabin Safety. As part of the Airworthiness function I perform the Independent Check of documents produced by the Design Organisation to show compliance with the applicable airworthiness and environmental protection requirements.
- Engineering support for the in-service products: Emergency Flotation Systems, Emergency Life-raft Systems, Fuel Tanks for Helicopters. - Management of technical publications (standard ATA100): Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Service Bulletin and Service Information Letter for fuel tanks, emergency flotation system and life-raft systems. - Collaboration with internal departments (design engineering, production, project engineering, Repair & Overhaul) and vendors for troubleshooting and product improvements activities. - Resolution of technical problems through analysis and drafting of applicable documentation interfacing with internal departments and vendors. - Repair stations & Customer visit for the product and service related activities (on-site assistance). - Management of product faultiness database.
- Design & Development of Emergency Flotation and Life raft Systems for helicopter. - Collaboration with internal departments (Production, Support Eng.) and vendors for troubleshooting and product improvements activities. - Technical support to internal departments (logistic, repair&overhaul, training).
