I believe the future of the food industry will be shaped not only by what we source, but by how well we understand and manage the increasingly complex world behind it. After nearly 15 years in international finance, I made a deliberate move into the food ingredients and agricultural raw materials industry. Today, as CEO & Board Member of Nungesser Group and an entrepreneur, my focus is on building a company that creates value far beyond traditional commodity trading. Global sourcing has fundamentally changed. Climate volatility, geopolitics, regulation, logistics, food safety and changing availability have made supply chains more complex and less predictable. In this environment, simply buying and selling is no longer enough. My focus is on bridging origin and market: developing long-term partnerships at source, understanding products and markets deeply, strengthening supply chains and combining sourcing with quality, compliance, sustainability and active risk management. At Nungesser, our ambition is clear: to be a trusted sourcing and supply-chain partner for the food and feed industry. We focus on selected categories where we can contribute real expertise and develop long-term value for customers and partners. I am particularly passionate about working directly with people at origin, developing responsible and sustainable sourcing structures, and turning market and supply-chain knowledge into practical solutions for our customers. At the same time, I strongly believe that entrepreneurship means continuously challenging how we work. Technology, AI, automation and smarter processes offer enormous opportunities to make companies faster, more transparent and more effective. But technology only creates lasting value when it is combined with expertise, responsibility and strong human relationships. For me, business ultimately comes down to a few principles: think long term, stay close to the market, understand the risks, act responsibly and build partnerships based on trust. Reliable origins. Nungesser is one of the oldest still active trademarks in the world. The company was founded in 1770 by Johann H. Nungesser, who was selling seeds for the first time in a barn in Griesheim (Darmstadt, Germany). Today, we have offices in Germany, Poland and Switzerland and operate all over the world. Under the consistent, traditional brand of "NUNGESSER - FOOD & FEED since 1775", we are focusing specifically on sustainability and reliability. We see strong successes and opportunities especially in organically grown products.
