    As Artistic Director of the Nations Award – founded in 1970 by Gian Luigi Rondi – I lead the curatorial vision and the artistic programming of this prestigious international film prize. Celebrating cinematic excellence in global cinema, the event culminates in an annual gala held in Taormina’s iconic 4,000-seat ancient Greek-Roman theatre, one of the world’s most evocative open-air venues. My responsibilities include identifying and inviting honorees, curating tributes and coordinating impactful on-stage appearances. Under my direction, the award has celebrated an extraordinary range of talents, including Giancarlo Giannini, Emir Kusturica, and Terry Gilliam. In 2023, F. Murray Abraham received a career tribute following his acclaimed role in HBO’s award-winning series The White Lotus. In 2024, Kevin Spacey was invited to the stage for a rare and widely publicized live performance of Mark Antony’s speech from Julius Caesar, which earned a standing ovation and was covered extensively in international media. In 2025, Luc Besson returned to Taormina nearly four decades after filming Le Grand Bleu there.

I initially served as Head of International Relations, contributing to the festival’s global expansion, artistic curation, international presence and high-profile guest relations. Key Responsibilities include: • Full operational management of the festival’s production – from concept to execution – including curatorial planning, scheduling, logistics, event overall and cross-department coordination. • Management of partnerships with institutions, public funding and cultural bodies, regional authorities, and international sponsors. • Liaison with film studios, distributors, and marketing teams for the organization of high-profile premieres. • Direct management of relationships with world-renowned guests, representatives, and publicists, from invitation to on-site hosting.
