• Partnered with the Canadian health systems of care to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and identified gaps in COVID-19 testing • Identified and fostered partnerships with key external stakeholders from Federal and Provincial governments to support onboarding, validation studies, and public health implementation plans • Scientific and clinical lead for the cross-functional COVID-19 team – leveraged insights gained from medical/lab experts (public health and private organization) to drive product roadmap strategy and enhancements • Lead COVID-19 presentations to senior medical and operations officers representing Federal and Provincial governments (eg. PHAC/National Microbiology Lab; Public Health Ontario, Alberta Health Services) as well as large commercial organizations • Created bi-weekly scientific briefs providing updates on: COVID-19 literature, competitive analysis, provincial guidelines, Health Canada, FDA, CE approvals - distributed to Spartan team (including EVP, CCO, product director and account managers)
• Identified and established global KOL network in cardiology and Alzheimer’s disease therapeutic areas that resulted in research collaborations, presentations and the implementation of Spartan’s technology • Created the Spartan Scientific Advisory Board, composed of the top Interventional cardiologists in Europe and North America for Spartan's rapid CYP2C19 test • Subject matter expert providing scientific and disease area expertise to cross-functional teams - resulted in agreements with channel partners in Europe and North America • Lead technical collaborations with KOLs in Alzheimer’s research, resulting in several investigator initiated trials and numerous presentations at international conferences • Lead in-person and remote implementation and training sessions to map patient/trial participant journey and assist with assay workflow • Provided pre- and post-sales product demonstrations and support • Developed strategic roll-out of the Spartan Cube CYP2C19 and APOE assays to private and public health systems across North America and Europe • Developed partnership with 2 Pharmaceutical sponsors to utilize on-site APOE testing to accelerate clinical trial recruitment • Created strategic partnership with Global Alzheimer’s Platform (GAP) foundation to educate clinical trial sites on how the Spartan APOE test accelerates trial recruitment, resulting in increased site uptake of Spartan’s rapid APOE test
