My tag line: 𝘐 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. I get you unstuck to better achieve your business/career goals as your go-to, energetic 1:1 LinkedIn™ coach, group trainer, podcast guest, speaker, press authority, author, with verve and "high octane" creativity. I offer 125% of my insight; as I've been told: I really appreciate how you “show up” in everything that you do. I knew the room was in good hands. You bring so much value. I was called "Abraham LinkedIn" for straightlaced honesty. Also "LinkedIn Dad" for my nurture, by a client, "you have youthful energy for sure!") Note: Want to connect to me on LinkedIn? Only if we're doing business or are close to it, then you know my email address. Then ask me. 𝗜 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 "𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁": In all I do, I customize my work: ►seriously deep 1:1 personal coaching, ►vibrant group sessions at corporations, professional firms, small companies, membership organizations, nonprofits and specialized projects. I consider myself a positive disruptor, noodging clients, encouraging them to ace self-branding; for many this is elusive, until that a-ha moment of self-satisfaction. I authored 2 books to show you how: ►"LinkedIn™ Marketing Techniques for Law and Professional Practices," 2nd edition 2021 ►"You, Us, Them, LinkedIn™ Marketing Concepts for Nonprofit Professionals Who Really Want to Make a Difference," 2018 Both are available at https://www.amazon.com/author/marchalpert Another passion: I connect great people to achieve results. One said: "Thanks for the warm introduction and kind words! You're always so thoughtful about connecting people with synergies!" My superpower? To help unlock yours. This was echoed by others: Marc is the tip of the spear in LinkedIn effectiveness. Your LinkedIn™ session was bang on! Powerful, clear, to the point. You're the very first person to show me how important LinkedIn™ is. Your knowledge is invaluable. Can’t tell you how much your presentation educated the newbies to LinkedIn,™ finetuned the veterans. Your engagement is wonderful. Raving fan! So appreciative, consider myself lucky to have been your client. Such respect for you, you've plenty of charisma that would make people say, Yes, he’s my person to work with! You go to bed leaving the world better than you found it that morning; mindful with impact. Your presentation was invaluable. I can't thank you enough. This is not "LinkedIn™ for dummies." I am 110% client-centric, so get a dollop of personal career brandmarketing with me. Text +1.203.218.8288 or [email protected].

When I sold this business in 2023, I provided e-payment services for business/nonprofits for 22+ years, being client-centric via 2 brands: →"Your Best Interest LLC" for specialized electronic products/services to optimize payment velocity and cashflow to retail, small- and medium-sized business, professional practices, e-commerce, etc. →"egiving" for optimized donations, membership dues, events, registrations, silent auctions, and other incoming payments for nonprofits, membership groups, and industry associations. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀: • I offered best-in-class electronic payment tools and techniques to increase velocity of cash inflows. • I advised businesses, firms, nonprofits, associations, and membership organizations to reduce banking/administrative expenses while optimizing operations. • I built my client service strengths with creative processes, customer care, and problem-solving. • I ensured best practices in credit card fraud prevention using aggressive technologies. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼: →Nonprofit CMO: Your thoughtful guidance, commitment and friendship over the years made a huge mark on this agency that we’re incredibly grateful for. →CEO of tax consultancy: Marc, the best part of the whole process was your coaching us. →Client: Many thanks, you’re a life saver! →Executive Director starting to accept online donations: Exceeding expectations as usual. →Director at a professional membership organization: You are most responsive, efficient, effective! →Educator: Lots of compliments. The attendees stayed the whole time, a reflection of valuable content and delivery. →Nonprofit CAO: In ever-changing technology, some things are just irreplaceable. Your personal customer service is one of those. These unsolicited comments reflected the vigor I brought to my clients, attentive to their needs. I sold this business in October 2023 after 22+ years' experience to fully concentrate on my LinkedIn coaching/training/consulting.
I taught several popular undergrad business courses and strove to make an impact on working adult students to think at a higher level: "why" and "how," rather than more simplistic "who" and "what."
As a corporate officer I was responsible for treasury management in the US, Canada, and South America and global cash repatriation strategies. I also led company-wide treasury projects. A major multiyear ground-breaker was the successful implementation of a global currency netting system run over email, then the first in the global treasury field and covered in an article written to showcase this achievement. We were taming the Wild West of online communication and using it to our benefit as a new in-the-moment global communication tool. Another of my major contributions was the development of an online credit card registration website for client conferences, another first, and knowledge I brought with me when I became a entrepreneur in my next encore. I co-chaired the shared service center, and was frequently commended for my role in acquisition due-diligence and then eventual subsidiary absorption, global joint ventures, and treasury/cash flow KPIs. The company was acquired and they offered to relocate me to the Netherlands, but that was not a viable option. I had always been an electronic cash flow advocate and applied the experience to later counsel smaller companies and organizations as I launched my next career step as an entrepreneur.
On my first day on the job, I oversaw the closing cash movements needed to effect the largest Western Hemisphere acquisition the company had ever made. I was responsible for treasury operations in what was at the time the Americas holding company of the UK Group, managed cash from acquisitions (Dr. Pepper, 7Up, e.g.) and later absorbed them into global company cash and treasury centers.
