Leading a team of highly skilled Senior Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers. We support Merck's Life Science Business in generating business value by identifying problem statements, ideating, scoping and executing data science-focussed PoCs as well as the subsequent industrialization of those. I had the pleasure of building this team from scratch. Today I focus on identifying high potential data science use cases with internal business partners and my team as well as developing the team and extablishing knowledge and best practice exchange across the Life Science organization and Merck as a whole. In order to support Life Science I interface with a range of internal stakeholders, including the executive leadership to understand business needs and to educate on the potential of machine learning and AI for the various branches of our business.
