About

I have spent more than 30 years working at the intersection of procurement, business strategy, stakeholder alignment, delivery excellence and third party risk management. Throughout my career, I’ve worked directly with senior business leaders to align procurement, suppliers, and operating models with real business targets. That work often meant challenging comfort zones, breaking functional silos, and repositioning procurement as a strategic business partner.

Experience

  • Retirement at Career Break
    Oct 2025 - Present · 9 mos

After more than three decades in global roles across procurement, sales, business development, supply chain risk management, outsourcing, and workforce transformation, I entered a new chapter. Retirement has created space for something I value deeply: time. Time for family, life in Sweden, learning, writing, boating, new experiences, and stepping back from the pace of executive life. After 26 years at IBM and a broader career journey spanning multiple industries and disciplines, I’m enjoying the freedom to explore interests at my own pace and from a different perspective. I remain intellectually curious and continue to follow topics such as AI, procurement transformation, stakeholder alignment, and supply chain evolution…not because I have to, but because I genuinely enjoy them. Grateful for the many colleagues, clients, and teams I had the privilege to work with over the years. Retirement, for me, is not about stepping away from life. It is about having the freedom to choose what matters. Retirement did not reduce my curiosity. It simply gave me the freedom to become more selective. 😉
