Innovative, open-minded, inquisitive, cooperative - words that do not only describe my personality, but also core capabilities of today's engineers. As a graduate in mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich I was able to acquire a solid theoretical foundation during my studies, e.g. in fluid- and thermodynamics, as well as in electrical engineering and computer science. By choosing to focus my studies on micro-and nanosystems, I could pursue my main interest and gain insights in extremely fascinating topics, such as microrobotics, ultrasonic particle manipulation, MEMS, plasmonics or nanoscale electronics. After boosting my in-depth knowledge about micro-and nanosystems in my Master lectures at ETH Zurich, I concluded the studies successfully with my Master's thesis involving carbon nanotubes. As a process engineer working at Axetris AG - a Swiss company in the semiconductor industry producing micro-optical components for e.g. sensors or medical devices - I could accumulate multiple years of working experience. Main topics included thin-film deposition, process development/optimization/implementation as well as preventive and immediate maintenance of several production and measurement tools. Currently, I am looking for job opportunities and new challenges in my career as a process engineer, e.g. in the field of medical engineering or the semiconductor industry. Aroused your interest?
