Leading the consumer team in Vodafone Ireland. Scope: Marketing (Prepaid, Postpaid, and Fixed), Retail sales and operations, Brand & Marcom, Base management, Distribution management, Terminals, Strategy & insights.
Role purpose: Outperform the market with regard to revenue share, EBIT share and customer satisfaction. Minimize churn with segmented differentiating propositions for the consumer market by developing, implementing and executing an integrated marketing plan. Guiding the marketing communication strategy, customer base (value) strategy, distribution strategy and trade marketing.
Established a centralized Marketing & CRM department, with 70-75 FTE from existing business units. Facilitated best practice sharing and chairing the marketing board for all brands (VW, Seat, Skoda, Audi, Porsche and VW commercial vehicles). Managed marketing services (marketing control, sales incentives and sponsoring).
Successful realisation of the retention and acquisition strategy; lowest churn in the market, increase of the number of long term contracts to 300k, and increase of the average margin per customer with >60%. Setting up and optimizing the direct marketing activities, resulting in more targeted and efficient marketing of target groups. Successful introduction of new propositions, supporting the retention strategy. Personal development by participation the Nuon Management Development Programme (Nijenrode).
Marketing and sales of Heating Boilers/Appliances (consumer market). Responsible for the strong growth in profit and revenue in the acquired heating business. Resulting in a dominant market position on the market
